Laila Charlton-Meyrick

Laila Charlton-Meyrick has been working in the financial services sector for the last 20 years with her career spanning across managemet consultancy with Mckinsey & Co to advising several HNW/UHNW individuals and families at UBS AG and Credit Suisse. She is on a mission to help “shift the mindset” of private asset owners towards investments and initiatives that make a positive impact on our world.  Impact investing is the future - it is purely good investing aiming to generate not only financial returns, but also have a positive impact on people and the planet. 

We are complex beings and are influenced by context and environment, and our best portfolio is not just financially efficient, it also needs to be one that feels emotionally comfortable.  She is a strong and passionate advocate of women and girl's rights and believes that we are all citizens of the world and we should help those who cannot otherwise help themselves. In her spare time, she is an Ambassador for Ethical Angel, a unique platform that upskills employees via community outreach programmes and a mentor at Katapult Ocean, an accelerator platform for impact driven ocean start ups.
